Players will be taken through a series of drills to work on all of these various skills. There will be a position based skills session as well. Players will have the opportunity to work with college coaches in their specific position. It is very important to know that each session has a limited enrollment. We aim for a player-to-coach ratio of 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large numbers while in instructional or evaluative settings. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in various group and one-on-one interactions. THE COLLEGE COACHES AT JUNIOR DAY ARE ON THE FIELD ALL DAY JUST LIKE THEY ARE FOR THEIR OWN PRACTICES & GAMES HOW WILL THE COACHES BE INVOLVED IN THE CAMP? At the Junior Day Camp the college coaches will be on the field working directly with you throughout the entire day. They will run each station and coordinate the event with the staff at the Junior Day Camp. You will be able to ask questions and get to know the coaches. They will be able to do the same with you. Come prepared to work directly with college coaches to showcase your skills and learn from them at the same time. Coaches need to know how players receive and execute instruction. The Junior Day Camp gives high school players and college coaches the opportunity to work together in a small group and one-on-one atmosphere. JUNIOR DAY IS RUN BY CURRENT COLLEGE COACHES DISCUSSION ON COLLEGE ATHLETICS This is an open discussion between the college coaches, the players, and the family of the players.
